Fishing back in June with the wife and it was hot. I felt the subtle "tic" and lowered the boom on what I first thought was a very nice fish, but, as we all know, sometimes that just is not the case. Lovely specimen, just not the "targeted" quarry.

they are real pretty during their spawn with the blue on em. had a guy tell me he ate them.............hmmmmmmm not me

I've ate them before; you have to fry them and eat them hot; cold they are very" cottony". This was back when I was a kid and we ate everything we caught or killed-p-
