Buffalo Bayou in Houston - 05/12/15 08:34 PM

Its been a while since I visited the TFF but I remember someone on here posting about Buffalo Bayou in Houston. We now have a place overlooking Buffalo Bayou Park and I'd like advice on where to fish, CPR only. Any help is appreciated.

I don't a have good answer for that area near Allen parkway? I grew up in Houston and know that there are fly fishers who chase carp along Braes Bayou. What sort aof gear are you using?

Normally I'm a Euro carper 12 foot rods, high volume spinning reels but I also have some bass gear and a 3 weight fly rod for panfish/bass.
