When carp hits spinner

Carp up here get more aggressive than normal after ice out. Caught one on a Rapala countdown a few years ago in May, and this one hit the big #5 Mepps spinner I was casting for northern pike a couple days ago. Tons of fun on a 6.5 foot bass rod.

Well done. We have had so much flooding down here around the DFW area that they should be moving up into folks yards now.lol

Happened here a couple years ago, Lake Champlain was too full, the Richelieu valley North of the lake was completely flooded all spring. Farmers and waterfront home owners had carp spawning in their fields and lawns.
