Highlands Reservoir 2-20-10 and 2-21-10

Fished the Highlands Reservoir with fishinfiend last night and with fisherwood and fishinfiend again today. We had prebaited the spot with range cubes on Friday night.

Fishinfiend and I fished yesterday. I left about 6pm and he started getting beeps on his alarms immediately after my departure. Ended up with a 7 lb grasser and 7lb buffalo.

This morning we went back and had at least two takes with no hook and I managed a 3lb grasser and fisherwood caught about a 4lb grasser. I left about 4pm and they were still fishing.

All in all, not a bad weekend (nice weather too) but not the fish we were looking for. But at least we have an excuse to go next week!

Sounds like a good time, fishing is starting to pick up

It was a good time, but not a great fishery. We are still looking for a good Houston area fishery that will rival White Rock...

The rock quarry, which has produced several 20s is now off limits because some other fisherman trashed it.

There is a spot in Mont belvieu called champions lake with ridiculous amounts of carp and large gars feeding off them
