Interesting. Usually have Academy spool my reels twice a year! Easy, fast, and not expensive. It also gives me another excuse to go to Academy and look at tackle!

I like to spool my own because these places like academy and bass pro won't attach braid to a leader. I love academy. They have the best prices.

I like your handle. No way I let someone else spool my reel though. What if they are not available when you need to re-spool?

Just having fun with ya

Yea when I was younger I always spooled my reels. Now being a little older I just go by the Acadamey. They always have done me a good job over the past several years. As for being unavailable when my reels need spooling I have not yet had that problem. If it did occur I would simply come another day. No big deal. Love this forum Trickster been a member a while. Great way to past the time and meet some pretty good people. Take care Sir.

I can't believe I wasted my time watching this for 4 minutes.

If my videos suck then I would like to know. I've only been fishing for a couple of years and I've only been making YouTube vids for a couple of months. I've never had anyone to show me the right way or wrong way to do these things, I've had to learn it on my on. I don't post these on here for views, I post them for feedback. One thing I have learned is most people on forums are brutally honest because they are not face to face with you popcorn

That is the Gods honest truth right there! Don't let them get you down. Thanks for posting. There is probably some one that will view it that is in the same spot you were in before and learned something.

It is going to take a lot more than some negative comments on a bass fishing forum to get me down. This is bass fishing not rocket science. The story behind the video is an older gentleman came to me and asked if I would make a video to show an easier way for him to get his line through his guides because he couldn't see well enough to get the line through. That's why the video was made, i was already in the process of adding some line to a reel being that I run braid with a leader. I slowed the process way down so it would be easier for him to follow. I understand that most everyone can do this twice as fast, so can I. I was thinking that there might be someone on here with the same problem. I thought this place was to help one another not criticize. Just my 2 cents.

And it is. But there is always gonna be, "That Guy".
Again, Thanks for posting.

Do you not worry about the box nicking or causing friction that damages the line?

Not to say that it wont, but I've never seen any evidence of it.
