Pretty proud of my girlfriend!

Yesterday I was in my tackle room pouring and building spinnerbaits. My girlfriend walked in and said that she would like to make one. She started out by picking out the colors for the skirt and then I helped her with pouring the head. She then picked out the hardware blade, beads etc. when we were finished we jumped in the boat in the lake behind my house and put it to work! In 20 mins she caught 4 nice bass then named her custom color bait. "Cray Cray".

Nice looking spinnerbait...
Your fish in the picture look hungry..large heads and large eyes...You need more forage small fish for them to eat..or too many bass in that pond and not enough food to go around. You can buy live shad online and have them delivered to your pond and they will grow and multiply for more than enough food for all your bass and fishes.

The bass in pic 2&3 had a punctured eye.

There are some skinny bass in this lake but there are also some chunks! There is an unreal population of bluegill, red ear, and fatheads. It is closely managed with everything under 15 inches harvested as well as all catfish and crappie. With our drought conditions the water level is severely low. I think that it is too crowded as well but the biologists managing it do not want to alter the harvest regulations.

I've also added more pics to the album to show what the majority of the bass look like.
