Caught her Thursday I have her at a 10-11lbs

Hard to judge without a known object next to the fish for comparison. Even a soda can would be helpful for perspective.

Regardless, that's a beautiful fish.

Thanks for all the help guys I’m just gonna go with about 10.5

Caught on 5 inch swim bait in about 12 -15 feet water

Shout out to tactical bassin and Matt Allen for teaching us all about swimbait a lol

Nice fish! Consider a tape measure (the soft kind like seamstress's use) so you can measure girth as well as length. This is preferred if ever getting a replica, anyway. I understand there is a formula that provides a decent weight estimate based on girth/length. This info is often precalculated for you and presented in tabular form. I have a scale, but haven't needed to use it for a fish like that....yet.

I was going to say 7-8 lbs but who can really know from a picture and with no measurements.
It's definitely a hawg and congrats. Thanks for sharing too.

Try this formula next time, its pretty accurate. Carry a tailor tape measure, get girth and length!

(Girth x Girth) x Length) / 800 = weight in pounds
(girth and length are inches)
