What lake do you have the Worst Luck/

Just a question I ask because I have a lake like that. It is that Lake that everyone else might be killing them but I can be right next to them and get skunked. that lake for me is Lake Bardwell. I great lake but I am very unlucky there. As if I have never fished before.

Lake Travis....... too big, too clear, too deep but others catch fish there all the time

I usually do well on every lake I feesh.... that being said I'm a diehard for finding structure & that's key....

Anywhere that is on the CAT tourney schedule mostly.

Lake Fork seems to get the best of me

Lake Georgetown. I have been skunked on crappie my last 4 trips. Catching them everywhere else I fish.

Do you fish from a boat or the bank? Not sure how you fish, but if you are a jig fisherman use 1/16th oz plain jig head and Crazy Angler Crawl'r in the Rage'n Cajun or Texas Toast colors. Also Slater's has a bait called the WHATZIT that I like a lot. I think it is called Brown & Chartreuse w/Pepper. It is almost the same color as the Texas Toast color. I fish mostly brush piles with a great deal of success. Just have to be patient, and wait for the thump. Good luck out there.

You might be on to something. When I fish Bardwell. I am fishing at the Marina. I might need to get a boat and fish other places.

Toughest lake I ever fished was Lake Granbury. I had a timeshare on it and never mastered it.

I had place in East tx and if there was a stick there was a fish lol .

Ray Hubbard is 15 minutes from my front door and I have never had luck on that lake. I really wish I could master it but it just has not happen. I now just drive over it to get to my favorite lake which is Tawakoni.

I was on that lake one time and nearly got killed with guy running at night with bow straight up in the air never been back.

I agree with you Mckinney. I drive across Lavon to go to Fork all the time. Looks like a mudhole. hard to believe our water comes from there.
