Favorite Crankbait to Troll? - 09/08/17 04:56 PM

I usually bass fish and like to troll for bass.

I catch so many crappie doing this on bass sized plugs (usually large crappie 14-17 inches) was wondering what baits y'all favor to target crappie while trolling?

Thanks

Bandit 200 and 300 series. Something with chartreuse. Clown, chartreuse and purple are a couple of my favs.

Troll for bass??? Well I have used small versions of the bass cranks for crappie, if the Crappie are in the brush it is hard to troll for them, but open water crappie love those little crank baits. Also catching walleye with a crank that just taps the tops of brush is very good too.

New concept for Bass Tournaments, Championship Trolling.

Berkley Flicker shad, flicker minnow rapalas. When over fish and have some room, Salmo chubby darter.

Trolling for bass can be super effective.

There is no better way to Target suspended bass than by trolling. Sure it's not "cool" but I fish for sport, not because I want to be cool LOL.

Appreciate the tips I'm going to try some chartreuse crankbaits tomorrow.
