Lake Lewisville Open boat ramp - 08/09/17 12:36 AM
Coming from Plano where is there a good boat ramp to use that opens early for morning fishishing?
Do I need to go all the way over to I35 ? Thank you...

East Hill Park boat ramp (Right next door to 121 Marina) has a gate house, but it's never manned when I go early.
Heck, I haven't seen anyone man that gate during the week in the last 6 months.
That would be the closest for you. Take 121 west to Standridge. Take Standridge north to the first intersection and go left on Lake Ridge / Memorial. The road basically dead ends at East Hill Park. Good two lane ramp, and only gets limited use. Easy breezy...

There is also Stewart Peninsula in The Colony. $10 fee for non-residents, but the boat ramp portion of the park is accessible 24/7.

The Little Elm ramp is well lighted, secure , and has a bait store across rhe road. Go down the tollway to eldorado and go west until you reach the park.
