We got FORK'D....Again - 08/01/17 02:39 PM
Hickory Nut & I got a late start yesterday morning.....mainly cause I let the front graph at the house
Hit our 1st set of trees around 9am....had around 6-7 in the box.
Moved to some short scattered brush in 19-20 fow and started sticking fish approx. 1-2' off the bottom.
When it slowed down, we headed to another tree in 23 fow next to a creek bed.
On the way, past an icon on my graph of a tree that was loaded and marked a brush pile 20yds from it that was loaded.
We stated that we would circle back and hit them after fishing to 2 spots we were headed to.
Past the tree that we were headed to and the graph lit up
We immediately started piercing some lips
When it slowed down, HN stated we only needed 4 more to complete our double limit
Moved 40yds to a large laydown, also loaded.
Didn't take long to complete our limits, but they were biting so good, we stuck around for another hour, catching and releasing fish
Never got the boat on plane, nor left sight of the ramp.
There was lots of schools of 1.5"-1.75" shad swimming around, so we used Mini Tadpoles in Lime Glo-Treuse & Citric Acid
Here's a few pictures
Belinda & I may got out tomorrow and check out the 2 spots that we never got back to
