Tough Jig...tough rod - 07/10/17 11:17 PM
Got a give a shout out to a couple of solid products.
Pre-fishing Fork last week and RC last month, I had similar instances where I "accidentally" hooked up with bigger fish than the tackle I was using was intended for. I picked up about a 7-8 pound Buffalo on RC and then a 6+ pound Ditch Pickle on Fork. Both times I was using a ProAngler rod and one of Jerry Taylor's JERRY'S JIGS on 8lb test. Just goes to show you that good equipment can make a big difference in your ability to haul in good fish. Oh, and that ProAngler I caught the bass on is probably 8+ years old and still going strong. I still have several of those old 9 footers, and love em.
And NO I'm not sponsored by either...
Can't seem to get the video of the Buffalo to load, but here are some of the bass pics. Anyone know why these pics rotate when you load them? They're upright on my phone and computer.
