Any public places around RayRoberts or grapvine to fish and actually catch a few with out a boat?

I believe there is a crappie barge on Ray Roberts but I am not 100% sure. You are out of luck at Grapevine for crappie from the bank right now.

isle du bois has a dock that u may be able to get crappie from. seen a couple of guys pull a couple of crappies up from there with minnows, looked to be about 10-12' down. i didnt stay long though.

You'll need to go at night to catch some from the bank, when they move up shallower to feed.

lake worth, lewisville have fishing houses . eagle mountain has a fish pier . Do not know how they are fishing lately.
