Guide Report Ray Roberts June 29

I had Carrie and Mike out today on Ray Roberts for a morning crappie trip. We fished brush piles from 22-32 ft. They really didn't want minnows today and jigs produced the majority of the bites. The little fish were on fire today and they boated around 160 fish but only 16 of those were over 10". Lots of black crappie caught today as well. Mike had a giant bass around 10 plus pounds grab a small crappie just after he bit. The big fish held on to that little guy for a while but just not long enough for me to net him. He finally let the little guy go. He looked pretty rough after that ride. Great day of fishing and really nice morning on the water. www.ntxfishing.net to book your trip.
