Guide Report Ray Roberts Monday May 15th - 05/16/17 12:46 PM

Really enjoyed having Aubrey and Tory out yesterday on Ray Roberts for some crappie fishing. The bite was non stop all day and they boated hundreds of crappie. The big fish were mixed in with the little ones but just not as thick as we had hoped for. We fished brush piles and timber in 18-32 ft if water. Jigs in Monkey Milk color seem to be the best producers. Ended up with 23 nice keeper crappie, a blue cat, few blue gills and threw back some ditch pickles as well. Beautiful day on the water and they had a lot of fun. I have some openings during the week and both Roberts and Lewisville have strong jig bites right now. Lots of different patterns between the 2 lakes and opportunities to feel a lot of thumps.
