Lake fork advice? - 03/19/17 02:59 PM
Fishing lake fork in the crappie tournament on April 1st. I've never been to that lake is there any info on boating lanes or hazard areas to avoid? Maybe a lake map. Not looking for honey holes just wanna be prepered I've heard there's a lot of trees in that lake. My home lake is raybob and everything is cleared inside the poles. I have a garmin 73sv no card so I don't think it shows any boat lanes? Thanks in advance.

Get a good map and study that. Boat lanes are clearly marked with buoys and are wide. Lake is 2.09 ft low so many of the stumps are visible, but not all.
Plenty of big crappie to be caught. Enjoy the experience at Crappiefest.

Order lance Vicks boat lane chip if they have it for a garmin. It's $$ well spent.

The Minnow Bucket has the Guide Tracks cards. Don't know about if they work on a Garmin.
