and my line all at the same time. Lost a pig right at the boat. Oh well, still wound up with a nice catch today but they didn't come easy. Just picked up one or two at each stop. Solid chartreuse jig was the only bait I could get them to bite. They were right on bottom, in the brush and was a real light bite. Fished anywhere from 15 to 21 fow. Heck, I even joined the crowd at the bridge and picked up a few. Brought 15 home for the neighbors. Oh yeah, Lake Murvaul.

Yes it is. I'm terrible about not using a net and it has cost me some big fish. You'd think I would have learned by now.

It took me years but I finally learned, your not lifting Big Crappie over the side of the boat with jig hooks without loosing some Beauties.

I lay the net out 1st thing if I'm fishing by myself.

She was too big to try and swing her over. I reached down to lip her and the line snapped. I tried to scoop her up but wasn't fast enough....it was probably funny to watch. I know to re-tie now and then from my bass days but I don't think about it when crappie fishing. There will be others
