It's going to be a while before I go out today, its 29 here at Fork.
I'm glad it's here, But I need it too warm up some before I get out on the water.

What is it at your lake ?

31*F on Stink Bait Cove, Lake Conroe with heavy fog on the water.

34° Eagle Mountain.

31 at Bardwell at sunup. Fog in the cove but clear on the main lake. I braved it!

Outside temperature at Lake Dunlap this morning at 6am was 39 degrees.

39 just West of the Neches below Palestine this morning. Prolly too stormy tomorrow but maybe Wednesday it'll settle down. Planning to offer a platter of crappie filets Thursday and see who wins! Fried Turkey or fried Crappie!! Results will be posted (if I get to go Wednesday morning).

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the CAPPIE will be gone first.

Let us know how that new crappie rod works out!
