I read those were throwbacks that Ernest caught and marked with a Marks-A-Lot. Read it here on the TFF, so it has to be true.

Someone on here (I'll let him claim if he wants) has a pond on his place that he keeps stocked with them. They get BIG fast. He gets a handful in each batch that actually produce offspring.
