3N | Double on Palestine

Run two trips on Lake Palestine this beautiful fall day.

Morning Trip was with Max and his grandson Houston. Houston learned to jig fish today and caught fish all by himself. Couple more crappie trips and he'll have it down.

This evening trip was with Neil.
Neil hit a honey hole and had his limit in less than an hour.

Mark, Thanks for your help. We had a great day and Houston has confidence that he can now catch fish with his jigs, and I will try to keep him on the water enough to stay in practice. The fish were a little reluctant to bite yesterday morning but, we managed to catch plenty of fish to keep him involved in the process plus had a good amount of fillets to impress his mom and dad.
I would love to get Houston back with you during the spring next year and let him catch some of Palestine's shallow water slabs.

I am suprized about Neil catching crappie, did you have to put some punch bait on there where he thought he was catching catfish??? Haha-he is a king catfisherman.
