Me and a buddy are headed out to Lavon Friday to try to find some crappie. Are they still biting pretty good? Any tips on where to find them? We never seem to have any luck when we fish together......hopefully that will change! Thanks for any advice!

Caught fish today in 5-15' water on timber and brush.
This cooler weather should really fire them up

I fished for a little bit this afternoon, around 2:30pm. Fish were 10-14ftw on standing timber, and were very cooperative. Used a BG slabslayer in a purple/chart color. Probably would have hit anything, but that's just what I happen to pull out and try.
