JB Thomas anyone? - 09/10/16 02:25 AM

Has anyone been to jb Thomas lately? I had a friend tell me he heard a few people say they were having a lot of luck at Thomas crappie fishing. I am taking my son out tomorrow and would appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Caught crappie scattered throughout the lake over the past 3 months. A dozen keepers was about the best outing.
No Guarantees but you might try:

Willows in 12-14 FOW just east of Bull Creek Channel Boat ramp.
Tie up to small trees (on island rock point) just east of White Island Park and back off and set anchor in 18-22 FOW.
Try trees in 8-12'FOW about 1/4 mile east of main boat ramp and just west of the pipe structure (old dock) sitting on top of that rocking point.
Few submerged trees in 6-10' FOW in SE corner of dam,

Good Luck

Crappie are in there.
Numbers outstanding.
We just need a couple years. For Growth.
Rock-Island. As stated above.Off the points. Are your best bet.
Please be careful. And release all small Crappie. Safe and healthy.

We didn't keep any crappie but we did keep about 5 16-18" cats. Son had a great Tim and we fished mid day.
