Video Trying Out New Crappie Rods - 09/08/16 01:39 AM
Wife and I sure had a blast on Lake Waco a couple days ago. I bought a couple new rods called ACC Crappie Styx and I have to say, they are some very impressive rods. Couldn't wait to go out and slime them. I hope you guys enjoy this amateur video. Give it a thumbs up and or share it.
For a little info on these rods....They are both 10'rods. The red rod is faster/stiffer with a great backbone to handle very large fish, but yet sensitive enough to feel the branches in the BP and the tiny bumps this time of year from Crappie. Now the very sensitive green rod is a much slower/flexible rod but has enough backbone to sling crappie in the boat without a net, which will be evident in the video. The last crappie in this video was a 14 1/2" slab and the green rod had no problem slinging it into the boat. Both rods come in rear seat or mid seat. And they do come in different lengths.
