Joe Pool 08/27/16 - 08/27/16 11:42 PM

Fished standing timber on Joe Pool from 7:30-2 today and caught 30 crappie, including 16 keepers. Best depth was 8 feet on a 1/16th oz. jig with a white/chartreuse plastic. All the fish were released.

Here's one that's missing its left eye. Apologies for the low quality of the last two pics. The glare while looking at my phone was a beyotch.

Nice, I'm curious on what side of the lake you fished Montain or Walnut creek. I was out today an only caught 2 dinks, oh well I'm still leaning the lake😄

I fished mountain creek bridge and some timber just past it. I normally fish the timber across from Loyd park and I catch a few but just haven't limited out

I'm not sure which arm matters as much as you just keep grinding. I have had good days on both arms. Yesterday, I started out fishing deeper water and only had eight fish, mostly smaller ones, by 11 a.m. Then I moved to shallower water, marked a lot more bait while I was moving and started catching a lot more fish.
