Early Father's Day with a best friend and Lil Fry's

Took my best friend Jon to the lake yesterday for an early Father's Day present for the two of us! Decided on lake Quitman to try and get a mess. We waded through the small ones to get some really nice ones. Thermocline Lures mini Tadpole in Black Emerald Shiner came in second today. The Lil Fry in Ice Shad was an overwhelming winner on this lake! These crappie were smashing the Ice Shad! They were swallowing the jig so deep, that I had to do surgery on three of them to get my jig back!






You can tell we had to really work our jigs to get a peck out of em!
No monsters, but solid fish!
Another great day with great people!
