Lake Texana in North East Texas

Lake Texana in North East Texas - 06/06/16 11:32 PM

Hi fellas. I am gearing up for my yearly trip to Caddo Lake the first week of July. The family and I spend a week there putting around trying to feed all the mosquitoes. nuts

Well this year during my internet research on the area to get me pumped about going I ran across an internet article about the 10 best Crappie lakes in Texas. Lake Texana was on that list...and turns out on about 45 minutes from the cabin on Caddo.

I have searched the 3 Crappie forums I am a member on and each has less info than the last about this lake.

Does anyone have any intel on this place? How did it end up on the top Ten list if no one is talking about it.

If any of you have any info....please share.

Thank you all.

Maybe Lake Texarkana? You think it might be a typo, as I don't know Texana!

I show it to be near Victoria. Not close to Caddo.

LOL....I have been spending too much time day dreaming.

You are all correct....Texana is down by Victoria. I had it on my list to try when I go to Seadrift one weekend.

The Lake I was actually thinking about is Lake O' the Pines.

I will start my research again. Thanks for all that replied.
