Bardwell

Went to Bardwell today to try for some sandbass, as the last time I was there, Sat. before last, I couldn't buy a crappie bite. On the way out I stopped at a brush pile I usually fish and guess what. Yep, the crappie were there. So I fished that area for about two hrs. And then headed in. Caught 11 total, with only one short. The other 10 were all right at 12" . On the water at 4:30 off at 6:30. Saw a couple of guys at the ramp that had fished up a creek and they had 9. All mine went back as I didn't bring my ice chest. Wasn't expecting the crappie and didn't want to keep any sandies. Nice rods454 .. I was out there Saturday and ran up a creek and saw some being caught on minnows .. I was bass fishing but did wet a jig and caught one good sized one .. Had to leave early but im glad to hear u pulled some off of a pile .. How deep was the pile of u don't mind sharing?
