Waco Crappie Tournament

Slung fish all day from the north to the south in the shallows and in the deeps. Wound up in 7th place with 20lbs. I was surprised at number of 20+ weights. Big fish winner was 2lbs. We returned three 9" fish for every keeper we boated. Headed home to clean 28 keepers.

ive been busy figuring our tradinghouse, maybe next year I can fish it. Sounds like a great group of guys to fish a tourney with.
no matter how tough it is, almost always , someone always figures out a way to catch them.
just a couple of decisions can make the difference..
I like the bruce lee philosophy of jeet kune do... The style of fighting where there is no style.

Same with fishing, the style of fishing, where there is no style or set plan.
Just go fish the situation and adapt on the fly.

Well I did terrible in this tournament. I think our problem was we were fishing too shallow. We caught more catfish, black bass, white bass, and gasper goo than we did crappie.

Cmon washaw, be honest, when you were ropin those EMUs,, you didnt know which way they were gonna run when they opened the chute, you just reacted, and kicked that little donkey a few times, and tossed the rope. its all reflex. !! haha
