How soon until the crappie start to spawn? - 03/02/16 03:31 AM

Well I'll let this picture answer that question!! They are ready! Had a blast catching these tonight. They all came out the water looking that dark too! All caught 4-5' using jigs green/chart under a bobber.

Nice patina you got going on that cork. I like it when my rods start getting there. Nice haul as well.

Were those all Males are were there females mixed in with them.

I've been catching males shallow off & on but the females have been scarce.

I caught 2 females, released the first 1 thinking I wasn't going to get into them this well lol.

Hmmm, I see you pull the plastic off those cork handles....TBox ALWAYS heads to my truck to peel the plastic off mine every time I go visit...sigh

Looks like Rain most days next week.

Yup! And that's if we don't get any more which I am seeing rain the week after next week too.
