Lake palestine

Lake palestine - 02/06/16 04:01 AM

Thumped em pretty good on Palestine this afternoon. Most fish came in 18-22 fow on brush and timber. Best colors of the day were orange/chart and white/chart. BFOD went 2-7. Did fish boat slips briefly after coming in and got a few more quality fish in 5-6 fow and one of them looked pretty dark. Great weather which probably helped out alot with the results. Finally got light winds as forcasted. Just hard to be effective the last few weeks while taking waves over the bow.

Nice fish, and love the orange-chart jig. A little more flash than I use but sure looks like what they wanted. Job well done

Thanks guys. Forgot to mention we caught a few off tires also.

Mo the bite was slow but steady early but did seem to get better late. We also got on a pod of hybrids and sand bass under birds too.

Fished the 5-8' water today for a few hours and it was slow but managed a few nice fish including my new pb black crappie going 2-1. Got my wife to do a print of the big girl.

Thanks guys. Will stretch it over a blank canvas and it makes some pretty cool wall art for the office.

So now you have the jr record hybrid print to go with your new PB crappie print........when are you going to switch to the dark side and start going after the green trash fish!?!?!?!
