WTG Xavier!!!! You and I both have the same models! When you get your Troll motor,if you like your troller on the front transom, I could rig it up like this for you just like the 8 ft electric models.

Xavier - congrats, man! You'll love it when you get a trolling motor mounted. I've been on the lookout for a nice little used Pelican like that for a while.
An old buddy of mine has the same model as yours and he has it customized like you wouldn't believe.
No longer bank bound - congrats!

When you pick up your Trolling motor also get a trolling motor Adapter plug for it. so that you can make your trolling motor a plug in and go motor. How many thrust lbs. is your trolling motor?

I had one and said I will just take it to the coves where the fish are,
not open water because of its size and sit low in the water.
At the time Tawakoni was my home lake.
I went to the coves and every snake there wanted to hitch a ride.
Me and my little boat had to part company.
Now that my home lake is Joe Pool there are no snakes. No fish either.

I have a 2hp 4 stroke Honda motor I use with my little boat. also have a 2 stroke air cooled, 3 hp that work awesome with these boats. Not too powerful, but enough power to move the boat when a trolling motor struggles. My small motors move the boat quickly, than I use my trolling motor to stealthily move in!

I had one when I was a teenager that had a 4 horse motor on it.
