Thought I would have the same success today as last week but ummm NO. Caught a catfish as soon as we got in about 40 feet of water then nothing for the next 5 hours. Tried depths in 20,30 and 40 feet even tried 50 feet but nothing. Marked a ton of baitfish and what I thought was crappie but no luck. Saw a few boats out today but didnt see anyone else catching anything either. Hey had fun being on the water and not at work so it was a good day. Fished out by the damn and close to points.

Got a half dozen in an hour and a half off the points in 30-32'. they weren't jumping in the boat, but with some searching, I got bit. Bonehead jigs. Shad still seem scattered. Water temp about 55.

As 007 stated,it was fun to be on the water,unfortunately,i know nothing about not being at work,lol!

Sounds like my outdoor adventures for last week. Back to salt mine this week and it really stinks after 2 weeks of hunting and fishing.
