Granger Lake

Does anyone have any experience bank fishing Granger Lake for crappie? I'm out of town on business and am considering taking the long way home to try this lake out. Any tips would be appreciated.

The only bank fishing right now is below the dam where they are releasing water. People are catching some crappie there.
