Crappie Fishing Video - 12/03/15 04:08 PM

I saw this video on YouTube & thought I would post it. It is 17 minutes long but has some good information in it.

He is fall fishing water 56 degrees which is close to what I saw on the lake yesterday.

He is catching some good crappie 4&1/2' deep in 6' of water. I never fish that shallow in the fall. Yesterday, I fished 53 to 56 degree water and caught 30 crappie. I kept 12 that were 1.5lb fish. They were 15' to 17' deep.

Does anybody fish this shallow this time of year.

Hope you enjoy!

Yes I do but not in a boat. Bankin' it and killing them in no more than 6-8 ft of water, if that much. Most much shallower, and I am in the creeks. October and November were dynamite, and so far, December is off to a rip roarin' start!

Love the REAL CRAPPIE SEASON!(Fall/Winter)

Barry is a super guide up on Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma. He can put you on some giant crappie.

The fish will definitely get shallow in the fall. Every lake is different but on some lakes the shallow fall bite is hard to beat.
