Jig Giveaway Update

Winners:
If you're a winner, I've private messaged you already and just need an address to send your jigs. Everyone has a week to get your address in. If you don't send your address within a week, we'll move onto the consolation names I drew. ETXCrappie was first consolation and Fooshman was second. I can't imagine more than two people not claiming their prize, but if that happens, we'll draw more names.

Everyone Else:
The other thread was closed because people were still trying to enter the Thanksgiving giveaway and already trying to enter the Christmas giveaway. I'll host a Christmas giveaway for sure and maybe a New Years giveaway. You'll only be able to enter those in their respective threads (not yet posted). The Christmas entry will be 12/20-12/24, if all goes as planned. Didn't anticipate that many people (109 TFFers) entering so maybe we'll give out more winners for Christmas... Really hated closing that other thread, especially with all the nice words spoken on my jigs, but it was about to get messy (confusing) and closing the thread seemed best.


Thanksgiving Giveaway Details:
• 109 TFFers entered this giveaway
• 8th and 16th oz were jig sizes
• Close to 50% of the crowd liked 8th oz jigs for wintertime and 50% liked 16th
• Patterns chosen for their colors based on a Thanksgiving color scheme
• 6 total winners were drawn
• 60+ jigs given out (some not pictured below)

"Honey Bee"
Head: Custom "Yellow Tang Pearl" (Double yellow and pearl pigmentation)
Body: Yellow and Brown chenille
Tail: Yellow (2-4 feathers) and Sculpin Olive (1-2 feathers)



"Goldfish"
Head: Blaze Orange with Yellow accent
Body: Fluorescent Fire Orange chenille
Tail: Yellow (3-5 feathers) hackle with Orange/Yellow flash

You ran a very good contest. First and foremost, I think you had such a great response due to the high quality of the jig prizes you were offering to all TFF members.
Secondly, the rules you set were very clear to understand. I sincerely hope those who were chosen will respond to your request, I know the holidays can be a hectic time. If not, the fact you anticipated and drew consolation names just verifies how well you anticipated all possible outcomes.

Cant wait until the next drawing because those are some first class jigs you have made.

I appreciate you taking the time to state your observations and send compliments! I've built websites the better part of a decade and probably hosted 750-1000 various giveaways. Experience taught me to stop generalizing statements and get straight to the point.

As for the quality of my jigs, I blame that on Jigum and Griff, but that's another story.

Just an update for everyone that entered - I'm still waiting for the other winners to read their private messages. I'll keep this thread updated.

Jerry T, I agree with the others. Good looking jigs, and a class deal to take the time to do this.

Those are some awesome looking jigs, and I love those color combos. Thank you again for doing such a cool giveaway.

Still no word from 4 of the 6 winners? Hopefully they're just traveling and will soon see this thread or my private messages. Jigs have been packed up since Wednesday.

If we don't hear from anyone by Thursday morning, I'll draw more names. Sure would hate for anyone to realize they won this prize too late. If anyone knows any of the remaining/unclaimed winners, please give them a call?

ETXCrappie and Fooshman - would you two PM your address to me in case I don't hear from Pintail or J Brown today? I just want to ship these jigs so I can move on with things.... If I don't have two addresses in the morning, I'll start at the top of this thread and work my way down the page till I find two people who want the jigs.

That means ETXCrappie, Fooshman, Todd, Jig Man, kickingback, Mike Ryan, Davedave, Mike S, John Butte, and GoldSpoonr (in that order) would have the next chance of winning jigs.

I honestly didn't see this happening... surprising to me.

No worries at all... GLAD you were able to make the deadline and this is smack dab in the middle of busy season for everyone. I never stated clearly in the rules that winners would need to claim their prizes within a week and for that - take the blame. I'll make sure to list that stipulation in the Christmas drawing and will still send Jay Brown a pack if he ever claims his.

At this point, I'll mail your jigs in the morning along with the next person or Jay/whichever comes first.
