After the smoke cleared..... - 11/03/15 01:04 AM
Headed out this foggy Monday morning to mainly do some scouting in a different area than I had been fishing lately and seem to have found a gem in the middle of nowhere on Lake Lewisville. Can't wait to visit it again with the Humminbird 360 Guy purchased for his boat. Caught & released fish everywhere I stopped at. The lake has come up a couple feet from last week. Water temp was in the 60'. Fished from 15' - 22' of water and the same situation as last week with pitching the jig out and working right off the bottom. Vertical jigging worked as well bouncing the jig off the bottom. Many fish had a muddy belly.
Going to start a new venture and began my do diligence on Lady Lavon. New waters for me so I hope to share something soon.
I accidently gilled the fish with my finger trying to hurry up for the pic. No worries, the fish swam away with no problem.
