I did it in about 45 minutes once at Aquilla. It was probable 20 years ago you could park at the spillway and walk up and over the dam and fish in front of the gate tower. It's posted no trespassing now.

me and 2 others caught 3 limits in 3 hours on waco a few years back. I had a line of fish from my door down the sidewalk almost to the mailbox. I will try to find the pic/. It was a magical day for sure. seems like anywhere we went they were just voracious. I couldnt keep track it happened so fast so I stopped for a count. we had 74 when the game warden came up on us, he left and we got one more, then caught abt 15 more and released them. it was smoking hot but a day I wont ever forget.

Me and dad caught 50 crappies apiece on a creek at Tawakoni back in the mid 70's. We had been on the creek for 2 hrs and had only caught 3 fish. Then it was like somebody hit a light switch because those slaps hit everything we threw at them. We ran out of minnows and starting catching them on jigs. We only left because it got to dark to see. We wanted to go back the next day but we were to tired. That was a epic day I will never forget. Everyone in the neighborhood got free fish.

About 20 minutes for a 25 fish limit. Think it was 27 casts for 25 keepers. 2 limits in 50 minutes throwing back fish we had to measure and an hour and a half for 75 fish.

Now thats fast Slewfoot! I thought i was lucky getting a limit in about 35-40 minutes! it was almost every cast over brush and only had a few cast without a bite.
We caught this 75 fish limit in one 1 hour and 45 minutes this past winter. Awesome day!

Sulpher River has consistently produced a "Limit" for me, when the water temp gets to the mid 60' temp! Sometimes, it's a couple of hrs. and then longer.

We caught a 4 man in probably less than a couple of hours several years back. Can't find the pic right now.

Creek fishing, 25 fish in 45 minutes. All 12". No throw back. None were bigger. Every cast produced. Easily the best day of crappie fishing I've ever had.

2.5 for me at Bardwell, first week of Sept. All on Crappie Magnet salt and pepper, with 1/8 oz jig head.
I don't think I've ever caught a limit. Bad crappie fisherman.
Same comment as crapyetr and Ranger-188-2007, I also am not very good crappie fishing guy and am still hoping for a 1st time limit.

Its not about limits its about size. We hit arrowhead when it was at its lowest and I caught 2 5 gallon buckets of crappie. All were 15 inch fish....i was probably 5 fish shy of my limit.
