That will drive you CRAZY

Frustrating would be a understatement describing the bite today. Slabador Retriever and I hit the lake around 10 and quickly found fish stacked up on trees in 28 to 44 FOW only to catch 1 or 2 fish per spot.

When you look down at the graph and the tree is so loaded with fish, the crappie had posted a "No Vacancy" sign! You couldn't stuff another crappie in that tree if you had to and we couldn't get but one or two fish to bite at each spot. That will drive you Crazy.

Anyways we kept 23 and released the big fish. BFOTD was a 2.13.

A few pics.

I've had that same issue lately. Glad to see that it doesn't just happen to me.

Now that's funny, I said "what lake" in yesterday's post and got the business for being a "lake namer".

Hey Jackson those fish are not screaming, those fish are the victims of the Slabador's hook set.

I know they had a broken neck.

Not biting but they are there like popcorn?...yes, been there and seen it..

Here is a perfect example of what you guys are talking about.
As it gets dark, most of the time the crappies will shut down for a good hour until it is completely dark before the night bites would kick in.

Try this sometime... (from my Lowrance HDS), set Fish ID on with High Chirp Sonar, and turn on Night Mode...(lots of dinks and some nice bigger fish on this brushpile)

Here is the world of dinks!

We were out for a couple of hours, but most of the places I checked were deserted, and when I found some, it was dinks roflmao
