the fish look a lot bigger if your two year old holds them...
Had a decent day on Lavon yesterday. Went home with 17 keepers, with the obvious dink fest going on the entire time. Fish in 14-15ft, holding very tight to structure. Thump Buddies in blazin raisin on a 1/16 unpainted jighead worked well. Black/chartreuse was another good color like always. Best fish of the day went an even 2lbs.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm pretty certain I have me a pretty solid future fishing buddy. While i was cleaning them, he stood there and handed me every single fish until they were all gone. His favorite part is rubbing the eyeballs...

Also, wanted to comment on the new G-rods. That was my first trip out with my new 10'6", and I certainly wasn't disappointed in the least. The only way it could get better for me, was if it had a cork handle. Anyways, if you're a fishin rod junky like I am, go give the G-rod a test drive, good build for sure.
