Big fish of the weekend and a new personal best!!

Way to go little man!! Slept in and did some work around camp today. Yesterday was great. Big fish are chomping on Fork. Had 2lbrs both days. Went to try out the new 7' Bonehead today and caught 2 nice fish off a stump. First one was 1 pound 9 ounces and I slung it in the boat. Little man wanted to try the bonehead and told me to share. Seeing how I used his 8' ProAngler rod more than he did Sat I guess it was fair. Not long after I handed him the rod he's bowed up and pulls his biggest slab to date to the surface!! 2 pounds 6 ounces! Look out 3lbs. Little mans gonna be knocking on your door soon!! I asked him what he though about that and he looked me right in the eyes as serious as could be and said " I love it!!!"

12' down in 23' of water on a Pappy's hand tie in Dr Hyde! We fished 4 trees and caught this one and another good one off the same tree. Fished one pile in 16' and it was a dinkfest every cast. Fished one bridge piling that looked loaded and never got a bite! He hasn't forgot about fishing trees with his timber rod with that guy that uses the frogs! If your ever up to it just let me know. I will get his people in touch with your people! Tbox updated the Lowrance with the 4.5 update or whatever its called. I was still running the original 2.0 or whatever it came with when we got it. Looks like I need a LSS2 box now. Oh well, its only money...

It's Shooter Todd! Like the movie! I'm beginning to think he might be right, you are full of stories. When you told him Shooter comes by for coffee and buys baits all the time, the look on his face was priceless! Since then he's had an eye on you watching out for whopper tales! I just wish he would take me to some of those brushpiles him and Shooter catch 500 3 pound crappie off of. Heck, I'd just settle for one! Him and Shooter can have the other 500.
