Weather man predicted .25" of rain for today......
Missed it a bit, got 4.8"....
Don't know how this will effect NM..... time will tell.

Got 2"in Waco

Wished I could have gotten some in my neck of the woods. Rained in some areas and others did not get a drop. Read a late fall and winter forecast it is supposed to be a very wet late fall/winter.

I could smell rain when the front passed thru... But hey you can't beat 65 degrees in August!

Sat at the ramp yesterday for awhile waiting for the rain to pass.

2.25" at the long bridge over Lake Palestine. Very little runoff as most went into the ground. Great rain!!

Going to check out Crappie Point in the morning. Hopefully it won't be too windy early.

Not a DROP in Teague!

I was on NM this morning at Crappie Point. Crappie were good for some of the people but I only got one keeper and gave that to a friend. Most were caught on a variety of jigs about 7' down. Wind didn't pick up until about 1000.

Hit Wally World for some more jigs. May try again in a.m.
