I admit I have not been down the road in a couple of weeks, and yes they are working on the road, but I didn't know they were closed. I will take a trip out tomorrow and let you know.

Any update? My daughter asked me to take her fishing for her birthday and was planning to go to Crockett in the morning. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I to would appreciate a road update. I made one wild goose chase up there a couple weeks ago.

I went on Sunday. A little dusty, but the road is passable. The road closed signs are still there, but not blocking the road. We were not the first ones on the water.

Did you do any good? I have heard great things about Coffee Mill but never been there.

We fished Crockett from just after sun up till 10:30. Had the lake all to ourselves after about 8. Caught a couple bass pitching a wacky rigged senko in the edge of the grass (7-10 ft). Daughter had a blast.

Any word on the road? was thinking about going there tomorrow
