Going to try a diamond in the rough tomorrow

Going to Lake Pinkston tomorrow. It held the state record bass for years at I believe 16.8lbs. It is in the boonies. Hardly any parking. One "good" ramp and one basically mud ramp. It's going to be an adventure.

The ramp on the other end of the lake is not a bad ramp but the road to it is terrible and there's very little parking room. I wouldn't mind paying a small ramp fee if the county would fix it up and maintain it now and then.

I went there to check it out this past winter. There were holes so deep they would swallow a truck tire in the parking area and some deep mud. Hope they've done a little bit to it since then. It's Shelby county though... There's a special kind of people there

I didn't! Tried some standing timber that looked awesome with no fish on it.

That spot looks like it should hold some crappie at some point or another.
