I just put hi viz line on one of my reels. Makes a huge difference. Do you guys use a clear leader or strictly hi viz line?
Never a problem with straight hi-viz that I could tell.

I've been using just straight Mr. Crappie hi vis line. I don't crappie fish often but it seems to work fine.

Mostly Hi Viz with no problems, but with clearer water and a tentative bite will use fluorocarbon leader with a Crazy Alberto knot.

I don't ever use a leader any more. It's a royal pain. I know opinions vary, but I haven't seen much difference with it.

Depends, murk water no prolem, clear water/live bait no prolem, clear water/jigs, I'll use a leader.
