Well, went to go to the Brook, but wasn't able to get my boat launched. Here is the view at the first gate leading to Mustang Park. It was about 8' low 3 weeks ago. Don't think it is low anymore!

That looks crazy. I read the water was across the road at Mustang but was not expecting it to be at the gate. I drove around the dam to see the situation at Longhorn and the marina. Several people launching in the parking lot of the marina and fishing from the bank. And nothing being released from the dam.

I took that same picture today myself. Looking across the lake from the marina, the water is getting close to going over the spillway. I don't know if it will go over or just keep spreading out in the low areas toward 1187. Incredible amount of water still flowing in from the clear fork.

Current level shows to be 708.5', +14.05' high. Read that at 710', it goes over spill way. With all coming in from Trinity, it might get there.

OMG What a difference a few weeks makes. Once things get back to normal the fishing should pick up. dance2 Looking forward to a GREAT summer! coolio

You can still launch from the marina, but there is no way that I am going to back my truck that far into the water.
