We have War Eagle boats on closeout and wondered where you think they rate as far as a good crappie boat.
We caught 40 or so at Toledo Bend last weekend.

I think they would be great. I have a 18 foot all weld aluminum Express and take it up in the timber and skinny water. The heaver fiberglass boats have the advantage in open water and wind.

I like the War Eagle way more betterer than my Bass Tracker for that type of fishing. Catfishing is even better.

Got rid of my War Eagle two years ago,cause I got sick and tired of getting SOAKED every time the wind picked up.They're fine if there is little or no wind.

I have a 1870 Xpress center console and wouldn't trade it for anything else...Being 70" across the bottom makes it super stable and drafts skinny...
