Headed to go camping at oak park at navarro mills.just have my little John boat and trolling motor. Haven't been fishing in a couple of weeks. Does anybody have any tips I have never been to this lake. Are the crappie up shallow at all etc

They were last week fish the weeds along the bank on either side of the creek at the ramp.

Just 2 crappie and 4 channels on minnows in the creek. Weather is making everything difficult this year

I'm heading there at 3pm today for the wknd. Been skunked last 2 times. This trip might decide whether I'm golfing or fishing the rest of the spring.

All parks at NM are closed, no one is allowed on the lake.
