How deep are the crappie nests?

I saw that fertilized crappie eggs hatch and are ready to go 4-7 days. That is good but I was wondering how deep the nests are since the lake is coming down from 5.5' over pool to 3.7' over pool now. It has probably been long enough but in New Mexico the Corp of Engineers totally messed up spawns at Cochiti but blowing the water out right after spawns.

Don't know how clear the water is in that lake. Typically, falling water will stop the spawn. Fish sense the slightest falling water and will not move shallow (less than 2-3 ft) to spawn. If the water is really clear, fish may spawn as deep as 10 ft. By really clear, right now on Lake Belton I can see a pink jig 7 ft deep without polarized glasses or the sun being out. Some people believe fish won't spawn that deep, but I've observed it several times. When you catch a female in 8 FOW with eggs running out, she's spawning IMO. If that lake is really clear, the fish may be spawning with falling water but the spawn is definitely hampered by falling water no matter the clarity.

I side scanned a ton of spawning flats today that were loaded with beds in 6 to 8 FOW.
