Palestine Limit

I had a great afternoon with Ron and his wife. We caught a nice limit of crappie, even with the muddy water and windy conditions. Late in the afternoon the wind finally settled and we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. All these fish were caught on Pepops jigs in a special color he tied for me. Thanks Vern!! Give me a call if you want to get in on some of this action.

We caught several on the bank on some reeds. The rest came from about 12'. Ill take a picture of that jig and post it later. Vern calls it Sour Grape I think. It rocks!!

That's an awesome haul! Vernon gave me a sample of that sour grape and all 13 keepers except one last weekend came on it. I put in an order for some more of them the next day.

WTG Jason! Glad you had another successful trip! That is my Grape Limeade. A little different than my Sour Grape but either would probably work. It's the dark Purple & Chartreuse the fish are keying on I think. That's always been a killer color combo on Palestine.
