I am in the market for a new fishfinder. I will be using it mostly to locate structure that I placed in the lake and to find structure already there. My max budget is $500.00. Just wondering what you guys are using and the pros and cons. My finders to this point have been very basic. I've been looking at the elite 5 HDI, and the humminbird 798 ci sc. Any help would be appreciated.

Ive been using a 798 on the console for a few years now. It gets the job done. But i really wish I would have went with a bigger screen.
